The role

Decathlon Stockport is our flagship store of the North in addition to being one of our biggest and most successful stores. As a Department Manager you'll be growing a dynamic business from day one, overseeing everything from customer experience, team development, omnichannel economic performance, merchandising and the day-to-day operations of your department. Essentially you will be running your very own business within the umbrella of the store. The purpose of your role is to empower and develop your team of Sales Assistants; all to ensure that your local customers can get everything they need from your department to practice their favourite sports; and most importantly, they have an outstanding shopping experience in the process.

    • Duty management, health and safety assurance.

Additional Information:
 

As a Department Manager at Decathlon you will be required to work usual retail hours including evenings and weekends and some bank holidays, but don't worry we try to create a healthy work life balance within our team. The role will be shop-floor based with full Covid-19 safety regulations and precautions in place. The safety of our teammates and customers is our main priority during these times.
