As a Customer Service Advisor your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores 'satisfied or satisfied'. Like any business, there will be some challenges that you'll face and it won't always be a breeze; however, with the support of your team we guarantee that you will surpass even your own expectations. Here are parts of the role that you'll be responsible for:


  • Customer Service - Through your own passion for sport, you’ll share your tips and experiences with users and through our hands-on product training you will be able to give the best technical advice for the sports you are responsible for. Decathlon has shifted into an omnichannel business so it’s essential that our Sales Assistants are able to assist customers in all aspects of retail shopping, whether that’s in store or online!
  • Merchandising - Whether full time or part time, every Sales Assistant is encouraged to take responsibility to autonomously manage stock levels and pricing and to provide a high level of merchandising so that each customer can easily find the right product for their sporting practice.
  • Team Player - You will be part of a shop floor team of like-minded Sales Assistants, practicing sport and celebrating victories together, so it’s important that you are able to work well within a team environment as well as independently.

Additional Information:

As a Customer Service Advisor in Decathlon Leeds you will be required to work usual retail hours including evenings and weekends, but don't worry we try to create a healthy work life balance within our team. Our usual working hours are: 8:30am - 8pm Mon - Sat & 10:00am - 5:00pm Sundays.


Our Leeds store is right across from the train station, with excellent travel links for commuting. We are in the heart of the city, a perfect location for after work socials with everything on our doorstep. Our team in Leeds are fun, vibrant and play sport regularly together. With over 70 sports in Decathlon, we are always looking for new and different sports to try too! We're looking for someone who aligns with our unique Decathlon values and who wants to help us make sport accessible to the people of Leeds.
