Social Media Manager

Your Responsibilities:

·       Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin

·       Follow and refine social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement    

·       Source, plan and schedule content and use tools like Socialbakes and Sprout Social to manage multiple social media channels

·       Develop and manage campaigns that promote our brand messages

·       Create key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms

·       Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions

·       Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics

·       Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within our company (in-house role)




Prerequisites and Requirements

·       Minimum of 2 years experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

·       Passionate about sport

·       Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media best practices

·       Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research

·       Good understanding of social media KPIs

·       Familiarity with web design and publishing

·       Good copywriting and communication skills

·       Excellent multitasking skills

·       Great leadership skills

·       Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·       Team player

·       Good time-management skills

·       Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

·       BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
