As a Creative Artworker you’ll be providing the best production for design support for our marcomms department, both in-store and online. To put it simply, the purpose . The most important part of your role is to ensure that all creative assets are produced with accuracy, consistency and on time. Through a variety of design projects, you guarantee the consistency of the Decathlon brand image in the UK. You take care of all the graphic needs coming from our different departments and stores, making sure high-quality creative artworking are always provided following the Brand Guidelines. Your work is used across multiple customer touch points, both in print and digital.

You take full ownership of your projects, from briefs, to production, quality control and timely delivery of the assets. 

Design Guidelines & Consistency

You ensure all brand guidelines, and tone of voice are consistent throughout all deliverables.

You work closely with the other designers (and the Communication team as a whole) to ensure clear and consistent communication, keeping all parties informed of the advancement of each project.

 

Design & Artwork Assets

You work on a series of artwork projects ranging from in-store POS, windows, large format & OOO graphics, store openings, digital banners, paid social banners, organic stories & posts, internal and external communication campaigns and the internal communication magazine.

 

Industry Research & Knowledge

You will continuously seek to improve the company’s approach to artwork and production with thorough knowledge and research of the latest workflow project management systems, best practices, digital advancements, new tools and competitors.

The professional qualifications (*desired but not mandatory):

 

  • Proven track record working as a creative artworker with client-side or agency experience.

  • Experience working with or for established retail brands*.

  • A creative portfolio of exemplary artwork across both digital & print and effective projects across a spectrum of brands and marketing applications.

  • Degree in graphic design, visual communications or creative advertising.

  • Proficient in latest software (Adobe Creative Suite).
